What is the Aon test?

Aon (the cut-e tests) sends online aptitude tests for employers. What we know about the real test, and how sure we are:

  • Confirmed Aon's scales numerical test is 37 tasks in 12 minutes, and scales verbal is 49 tasks in 12 minutes, according to Aon's candidate page.
  • Confirmed Wrong answers can cost points: Aon says points are usually added for each correct answer and deducted for every incorrect one.
  • Not published Aon does not publish how many points a wrong answer costs.
  • Confirmed Aon says you are told at the start of each test whether a calculator is useful, so have one to hand.

C = confirmed by the publisher. R = reported by a named secondary source. NP = not published. Facts last verified 10 September 2026. Your invite email is the only source that is true for your test.
