1. Educational practice, not employer testing

Our assessments, drills, mini‑lessons and analytics are designed to help candidates prepare for finance‑sector aptitude testing. Provider‑specific assessments on the platform are replica practice formats built by Acumen Logic. They are not the same as a real test, and they are not produced by, licensed from or endorsed by the test publisher whose format they imitate. Real employer assessments may use different question types, time limits, scoring methods and content. We update our materials regularly but we cannot guarantee they reflect every change a publisher or employer makes.

2. No guarantee of outcomes

Practising on Acumen Logic does not guarantee a particular score on any real assessment, an interview, a job offer, an internship or any other career outcome. Your real‑world results depend on many factors outside our control — your prior knowledge, the time you invest, the specific assessment a particular employer uses, and how you perform on the day.

3. How our percentile rankings work

The percentile rankings we display are estimates produced by a statistical model. Until our own dataset is large enough to support purely empirical percentiles, the model uses a synthetic baseline distribution shaped to reflect typical performance on graduate‑level reasoning tests, and is refined with real candidate results as they accumulate on the Service. We label percentile figures as “estimated” throughout the platform.

An estimate is, by definition, not a measurement. The fact that a percentile we show you differs from a result you later receive on a real test does not mean either figure is wrong — the two are produced from different data, by different methodologies, against different populations.

4. Not financial, legal or career advice

The Service is general educational content. It is not financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, careers counselling or recruitment advice. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. References to financial concepts and calculations on the Service exist solely so that candidates can practise the relevant aptitude formats. If you need advice that is regulated — for example, on personal investments, tax planning, employment law or visas — please consult an appropriately qualified, regulated adviser.

5. Independence and third‑party trademarks

Acumen Logic is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of the companies, employers, recruiters or test publishers whose names may appear in our materials. Where we name third parties — including, without limitation, SHL, Aon, cut‑e, Talent Q, Korn Ferry, Cappfinity, Arctic Shores, Saville, Pearson TalentLens, the “Big Four” accountancy firms, the major investment banks and consulting firms, or any individual employer — it is for descriptive and educational purposes only, on a fair‑use basis. All names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

The Service may link to external websites we do not control. We have no responsibility for the content, accuracy or availability of those sites and inclusion of a link is not an endorsement.

7. Accuracy and currency

We work hard to keep the Service accurate, but content can become out of date. We make no representation or warranty, express or implied, that all content is current, complete or free from error. We may update or remove content without notice. Where a paid Pro plan is materially affected by a change, the relevant clauses in our Terms and Refund Policy apply.

8. Liability

The full position on liability is set out in clause 10 of our Terms & Conditions and applies in full to this Disclaimer. Nothing in this Disclaimer limits our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update this Disclaimer to reflect changes in the Service, in third‑party offerings or in law. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version.
